Free Mysterious Halloween Screensaver 1.1

I know that this year’s Halloween came and went, but when the next one rolls around you could use 3D Screensaver Jam’s Free Mysterious Halloween Screensaver to spook up your computer. This screensaver is a collection of various spooky images – like skeletons and carved pumpkins, and other things of the sort. The screensaver user various transition effects to switch from one image to another. From the settings pane you can select how slow or fast the screensaver switches from one image to another.

While Free Mysterious Halloween Screensaver plays some music in the background. There are two things I don’t like about this music. Number 1 – it is not particularly spooky; adding a spooky soundtrack to a Halloween screensaver would have made sense, but what you hear in the background isn’t spooky. An number 2 – you can’t turn it off; there is no option in the settings pane to turn the screensaver’s soundtrack off.

Getting back to what you see, alongside Halloween-inspired images Free Mysterious Halloween Screensaver also displays the clock. By default the clock is displayed in the bottom right hand corner. If you want to change the clock’s position, you can do so from the screensaver’s settings pane. From the settings pane you can also change the clock’s size and color.

Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Free Mysterious Halloween Screensaver provides support for Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and Windows XP. Tested the screensaver out on a Windows 7-powered machine and it worked fine on it, even though the developer does not mention Windows 7 support.
Limitations – there are no limitations because Free Mysterious Halloween Screensaver is freeware. You can use the screensaver for as long as you want and not part with your hard earned money.
